100 Words or Less: Casino Jack
Though Kevin Spacey is dynamic in the title role, the other characters in “Casino Jack” are reduced to one-note caricatures.

By the time I was faced with the movie’s climax, I had already given up and no longer cared. I just wanted the train to crash and burn (as the movie had) so I could finally go home.

The characters, like the humor, are shallow yet likable. This isn’t life-changing stuff, but it’s a perfectly enjoyable way to pass the time for 96 minutes.
The script makes no sense and the structure is sloppy – even for a film directed by the guy who made “The Hangover.”
