100 Words Or Less: “Dear Zachary: A Letter To A Son About His Father”

In 2001, Andrew Bagby was murdered by his ex-girlfriend, Shirley Turner. When Turner announces that she is pregnant with his child, Andrew’s close friend, Kurt Kuenne, embarks on a worldwide journey to create a film that will introduce Andrew’s son to the father he will never meet. Dear Zachary is psychological gauntlet, inciting every emotional response from rage to despair, from relief to defeat…all in about 90 minutes. While viewers may not like the way they feel at the end of this documentary, they will respect the film for its ability to have such a profound effect on one’s psyche.
