100 Words Or Less: “Zodiac”

Zodiac chronicles the true story of the serial killer who terrorized the San Francisco area during the late 1960s. Director David Fincher focuses his narrative not on the murders themselves, but on the Zodiac’s relationship with the Bay Area press and the police departments investigating his crimes. Crafting his film around two books by Robert Graysmith (a character in the film) and over a year of his own research of police reports and news accounts from the time, Fincher delivers an intriguing and exceptionally well-made film that also carries an admirable level of historical credibility.
