Bridges Vs. Clooney: What Really Happened (GIFs)
Both George Clooney and Jeff Bridges acted like the Best Actor Oscar they were battling for last Sunday wasn’t a big deal. Bridges tried to appear stoic, but ended up looking smug. So undude. Meanwhile, Clooney acted like he was just there to drink and party. That strategy backfired. By night’s end he resembled a bitter, shitfaced ex-girlfriend. For once, that’s not a good look for you, George. Clooney had a tougher role in his movie. Jeff only won because he’s never won before. But that’s ok. they’re both good actors who won’t starve.

that fourth one down it looks like clooney and the chick next to him are having a conversation with someone and are agreeing with something they said. Her expression says something like, “i can see that” although thats not what she is saying, and his expression says, ” i know, totally!”
and yes bridges is without a doubt failing at his attempt to hold back excitement. If indeed that last one is from bridges being announced the winner or is up on stage, it looks like he doesnt have much respect for jeff bridges. I didnt watch so i dont know, but I’d bet my left nut that disgust is meant for sean penn…Just a guess.

Clooney said on the red carpet of the Oscar’s that he knew he wasn’t winning that night. Bridges swept all the awards before the Oscar’s, so it was pretty much a given he was going to win best actor.
Also, Clooney has already won an Oscar (best supporting, Syrianna). I seriously doubt he was pissed to lose this one to Bridges.
