Watch Woody Harrelson Dance, Badly

I’ve always been a Woody Harrelson fan. Any dude who proudly wears the badge of “Hemp Activist” is a-okay in my book. He’s also a damn fine actor. Cheers, White Men Can’t Jump, Natural Born Killers, Kingpin, The People vs. Larry Flynt and last year’s The Messenger – for which he nabbed a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nom – all showcase Woody’s full range of skills. He’s one of the few guys who can pull off both comedy and drama.

Harrelson’s first role was equally memorable. He played a football player named Krushinski in the Goldie Hawn ’80s teen comedy, Wildcats. Fresh-faced with a full head of hair, young Woody made quite an impression. Especially when he started to dance. We’ve always known whitey can’t jump, but he’s not too good at dancing either. See for yourself:

Ahhh… nothing soothes the soul quite like an ’80s movie montage backed by the vocal stylings of the Isley Brothers. Poor Woodrow lacks rhythm of any kind. He was probably just nervous, it being his first movie and all. Either that or his wake and bake session went on a bit too long.
