Let’s Praise The Green Hornet For At Least Taking Chances (Trailer)

The trailer for The Green Hornet has finally been released after all kinds of development rumors and news, going all the way back to when Kevin Smith was attached to the project (his script has since been put out as a comic book by Dynamite Comics).

There were initial concerns over whether or not Seth Rogen was a good fit to play Britt Reid, and some might find it hard to differentiate between this and Rogen’s other characters. However, I praise movies that take chances – oddly enough, it’s pretty rare nowadays – and The Green Hornet did that, not just with the casting (e.g. Rogen, Christoph Waltz and Jay Chou), but by having Michel Gondry direct. So far, there are a lot of reasons to be excited about this movie, even if it is being released in January.
