True Blood Recap: Three Things I Liked About Episode Three

There really is never a dull moment in the True Blood universe. Especially now that werewolves have entered the picture. Can’t vamps and wolves just get along? Hell no — where’s the fun in that? Thus far I’m digging the direction matters are heading. Bill and Sookie being apart is making for all kinds of wild developments; she now has herself a werewolf escort, courtesy of Sheriff Eric. The Sam and Tara storylines are sorta ho-hum at this stage, but I have a feeling things will begin to get more interesting shortly. Sam’s biological family is trouble with a capital T and that Franklin dude reeks of bad news.

Here are three things I liked about episode three:

1. Jason practicing for his police written exam and going 0-22. Priceless. The guy is such a dope, but he totally rules.

2. “That must be new.” Lafayette’s response to Jason saying he had a lot on his mind. Nelsan Ellis, who plays Layfayette, continues to kill it every week.

3. All those photos of wolves in various poses lining the walls inside the werewolf bar. Hilarious.

Bonus: Bill inventing a brand new sexual position which I’m dubbing the “Twist and Shout.”

That’s all I got. Until next time….
