An Evening With Kevin Smith Coming To TV

Whether or not you consider Kevin Smith a talented filmmaker, you gotta admit the guy can spin a yarn. For the last few years he’s been circumnavigating the country’s college campuses and sharing tales of yore with the student bodies in sessions he calls, An Evening With Kevin Smith. I’ve never attended one myself, but I have downloaded and listened to a couple and found them to be immensely entertaining. He pretty much goes off on everything he’s done and everyone he’s encountered, in no-holds-barred fashion.

Via Bleeding Cool, Smith revealed plans for his next Evening to be broadcast on TV. No word on which network will air the R-rated rant, but I imagine either HBO or Showtime are the only viable candidates. Either that or it will be nothing but a series of monotonous beeps to conceal all the potty talk. In other words, pointless.
