Beavis and Butt-head Returning to TV?
Heh, heh, this is cool, or something. According to a site called REVIEWniverse, Beavis and Butt-head creator Mike Judge is writing new episodes of his cult series with hopes that MTV will air them. The updated installments would keep the same format and look. Meaning the two nitwits will continue to beat the sh*t outta each other, comment on crappy music videos and fail miserably to bag hot chicks.
Since MTV doesn’t show music videos anymore, a new B & B would fit nicely into their schedule of fake reality series and thrilling exposes on fat kids who can’t stop cutting themselves after a night of binge drinking. Will it happen? Probably not. MTV seems content pumping out unwatchable and unfunny trash that passes for entertainment. At this point, Beavis and Butt-head is too high brow. Besides, the “source” for this story smells fishy. Kinda like one of Butt-head’s farts.

If MTV won’t air the episodes, then Mike Judge should take them to Comedy Central. It’s MTV’s sister channel, but by today’s standards it would probably fit nicely on there.
