Dexter Season Five Trailer

Warning: If you haven’t seen season 4 of Dexter you might want to stop now. Spoilers dead ahead.

Fans of Showtime’s Dexter were rejoicing at Comic-Con over the weekend as the season five trailer was unveiled. Last we left our favorite serial killer, he was holding his crying baby after finding Rita dead in the bathtub. As far as shocking endings go, that one ranks up there as one of the more powerful WTF! moments I’ve seen in recent years. Dex must now deal with an emotion foreign to him: guilt. He blames himself for his wife’s demise as do Rita’s kids. If that weren’t enough to endure, he also has a suspicious Detective Quinn labeling him as the number one suspect in Rita’s killing. Uh, oh. Season five debuts September 26th. Here’s the trailer.
