Even M. Night Shyamalan Parodies Suck

Writer/director M. Night Shyamalan’s reputation has become so sullied, he’s resorted to appearing in spoofs of his own movies before they are even released. Devil, due out September 17th, is being touted in ads as being “from the mind of M. Night Shyamalan.” Not surprisingly, this has been meant with much consternation — usually in the form of boos and/or laughter — from moviegoers who have bore witness to trailers. I guess M. Night feels nipping things in the bud is his best recourse, hence the following Devil parody called “Escalation.” It’s, uh… not at all funny, but at least we are treated to porn star/Penthouse Pet Ryan Keely in a state of undress.
