This past weekend’s Star Wars Celebration VI, held in Germany, will surely prove to be the pre-show for 2015’s Celebration VII.
The convention, established in the anticipation of Episode I back in 1999, has continued since then as the time and place for fans of Star Wars and the Star Wars universe to gather and get the latest and greatest news concerning the galaxy far, far away.
Even though the event is two years away, we already know when and where the next Celebration will happen: April 16-19, 2015 in Anaheim, California. Tickets will go on sale next week, on August 7th at 7 a.m. (for the seventh celebration and Episode VII, get it?).
The placement of the biggest Star Wars convention is rather fitting. Anaheim is when Disneyland resides and Disney’s imprint will be in full force at the convention to be very sure. And with the convention taking place probably mere weeks before the release of Episode VII (Star Wars films traditionally release theatrically in May), fans will surely want to attend this event no questions asked.

I, for one, can be counted in.
