While you sit at your computer/tablet/smart phone reading your favorite movie blogs after a hard day’s work, Christopher Nolan and his crew have been out in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada filming what is sure to be the movie event of next fall.
The film is Interstellar and Nolan and his crew have been at it for a good month, but today is when we get our first glimpse at the set. There isn’t any sound, but the images, very much like the medium itself, speak for themselves.
The films stars a huge ensemble cast (par the course for any Nolan picture) headed by Matthew McConaughey. The short clip (which will surely be taken down soon–Nolan is a stickler for secrecy) clearly shows Nolan directing a scene between McConaughey and someone I can’t quite make out.
It isn’t much, granted, but its a fun and interesting look for fans of Nolan and for people who love watching a hot movie set in action. Production is sure to continue into the colder fall months of the year before going into post-production early next year.
