Denver Broncos Legend Shannon Sharpe Gets Impersonated by Jay Pharoah on SNL (Video)

This past week’s episode of SNL has proven to be polarizing to fans of the show. While some were not impressed with Miley Cyrus hosting the show, others thought it was one of the better episodes from the last few years. If there’s one thing everyone can agree on, it’s that the featured players did what they do best and held the show afloat.

Jay Pharoah has proven to be one of the stars of the new cast, and showed off his impression talents during Weekend Update when he played CBS Sports analyst and former Denver Broncos legend Shannon Sharpe.

Pharoah nailed his impression of Sharpe, from getting his characteristic lisp to the way he stutters and struts his way through broadcasts even though it’s questioned whether he knows what he’s talking about half the time.

Everyone loves Sharpe though and by default everyone loves Pharoah’s dead-on impression of him. Pharaoh seems to be one of SNL‘s go-to impersonators as his Shannon Sharpe impression goes alongside his Stephen A. Smith, Will Smith and President Obama impressions.

What did you think of Phroah’s take on Shannon Sharpe? Did he nail it or did you think it needed some work? Sound off in our comments section below and let us know.
