5 – Awesomely creepy opening sequence – Identically-dressed men in red masks carry heavy duty briefcases through Stockholm. On a subway car they’re brought down with some serious moves by a woman with her eyes closed. She crakes open a case to reveal a stash of diamonds.
4 – Diamonds hidden in dissolvable golf balls – Take an everyday object and make it a hiding place for millions of dollars and you’ve got the perfect “in plain sight” hiding place. This mysterious woman, who turns out to be former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Akela Amador, who can kill with her eyes closed has some serious skills.
3 – Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus – Finally! Skye asks the question we’ve all been wondering about steak-outs: how do they go to the bathroom??? The response she gets from Ward is what every girl fears: a water bottle. She points out that “boy parts and girl parts are different”. It’s probably a good idea to remind geeks of that every once and a while.
2 – “Seduce Him” – Agent Ward, acting as Amador, must get past a guard. This is the direction he receives from her handlers much to his dismay. When his attempt to “bromance” him fails, he has to settle for kicking the guy’s butt. Of course, this variation on the plan causes some complications.
1 – Fitz and Ward’s poker duel – When Fitz tries to discern Ward’s tell. He has a brief staring contest. He has Skye on the side using the glasses. She tells him that if she uses the glasses she’ll be able to see Ward’s cards but also see Fitz naked. He wisely folds.
The next episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs next week.
