Game of Thrones Casts Stuart Rodger as the Bloodraven?

We’ve seen plenty of things happen over the course of the first three seasons on Game of Thrones but a crucial character in George R.R. Martin’s books has yet to officially show up. That’s something that is going to change it seems as Zap2It’s Terri Schwartz has uncovered an interesting addition to actor Stuart Rodgers’ resume.

Rodger’s online resume lists everything he’s ever been in, and at the bottom of that list is a new role we’ve yet to see — the Bloodraven on HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones. The resume lists the role as the “Three-Eyed Raven”, something we’ve seen in the past before and most recently in Bran Stark’s dreams in Season 3.

But with news that Stuart has this listed on his resume, the thought is that he will show up as a character in the future, a personification of the Raven. In Martin’s books, there is a character called Lord Brynden Rivers, better known as the Bloodraven.

There’s no way to tell that this will indeed be the case, but it’s hard to see Rodgers not fitting right into the role and into the world of Game of Thrones. There’s also the fact that the character Rodgers could be playing doesn’t show up until the fifth novel in Martin’s saga. This would mean that he might not show up until the end of season 4, teasing a larger role in season 5.

All of this is speculation of course, but it just goes to show that the beginning of the fourth season of Game of Thrones can’t get her fast enough.
