Tonight is a moment that all baseball team strive to be a part of but only two are so lucky to be. This year those two lucky teams are the St. Louis Cardinals and the Boston Red Sox, both of whom come into the World Series owning the best records in their respective leagues.
This means that for the first time since 1999, we have the two best teams in baseball going at it for the World Series, and you couldn’t ask for anymore.
It’s going to be a series of pitching it seems as the Cardinals boast some serious talent at the front end of their pitching rotation while the Red Sox have a bullpen that can swallow you up. Adam Wainright, the Cardinals sensation, will be taking the mound for Game 1 tonight while the Red Sox will be throwing out veteran Jon Lester.
