We’re less than half year away from the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which will pick up where 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man left things off. But while the film is shot and being edited, it’s not done adding big names to the production as according to Billboard, music producer and performer Pharrell has joined the crew of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to help out composer Hans Zimmer.
Pharrell talked with Billboard recently and rattled off his upcoming projects he is working on and casually mentioned that he was working with Zimmer on Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Ed Sheeran. Usher. I’m going back in with T.I. Beyonce. Jennifer Hudson. Nelly has this really big record named “Rick James.” That’s my jam. Hans Zimmer and I are scoring “The Amazing Spiderman 2.” The “Happy” video, it just feels like people—good people that all remember that we are entitled to smile. I’m very excited about that.
Zimmer is coming off of working on the three Christopher Nolan Dark Knight films as well as Man of Steel has been composing the score for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 but knowing that Pharrell is helping out as well should ensure that Zimmer’s unique sound will only get more special and even more unique for the final film.
