American Horror Story Season 4: FX Renews American Horror Story, Will Air in 2014

We’re not even six episodes into American Horror Story: Coven and already FX is signing themselves up for more witchcraft and horror. According to Variety, FX has renewed American Horror Story for a fourth season which will air likely in the same fall slot in 2014.

Per Variety:

“American Horror Story” will continue to scare FX viewers, as the net announced today that it has ordered a fourth installment of the franchise from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

This is something we expected to happen as there really was no reason for FX to walk away from American Horror Story or the insane ratings that it draws in. In addition to that, series creator Ryan Murphy has already been talking publicly about a fourth season of the show and how series star Jessica Lange is pretty much in the bag in terms of returning to the series again.

But the question now is where will the series go after this season. Nothing is really connected from season to season expect for actors returning in different roles, but the stories have varied from season to season and the themes are always shifting.

The bottom line though is that we have loved the first three seasons of American Horror Story and news that a fourth season is coming is something everyone can be happy about.
