Saturday Night Live, Josh Hutcherson: When to Set Your DVR

Tonight marks another episode of Saturday Night Live on NBC and it’s a show that really could go either way. Absolutely no offense to Josh Hutcherson — as I’d never offend a fellow Josh — but tonight’s episode features the first host of the season that isn’t a huge draw.

It’s very obvious that there’s a certain audience for Hutcherson but most SNL fans aren’t teenage girls who are fans of The Hunger Games. That’s what gives tonight’s episode such an interesting angle, as it’s a chance for Hutcherson to really breakout to a wider audience and show off his chops.

We’ve been seeing Hutcherson for the better part of a decade, dating back to his Zathura days, but he’s now one of the hottest young talents in Hollywood and turning in an ace hosting job on Saturday Night Live is a great way to expand himself in the eyes of those above the age of 19 and outside of the female gender.
