HBO hasn’t released any material about the new season of Game of Thrones other than some leaked set photos and a few seconds of footage on their year end ‘What’s Coming in 2014′ trailer. It’s very likely that the premiere of Girls and True Detective brings about some heavy promotion of the show, but for now there seems to be a total blackout from the network.
But that doesn’t mean things aren’t going on behind-the-scenes as HBO has already upped a fresh actor to a season 5 regular before season 4 even sets a premiere date in stone. According to ScreenCrush, Michiel Huisman has already been upped to series regular for the fifth season of Game of Thrones.
The blog also reports that Daario Naharis is the role that Huisman will be stepping into, replacing the previously cast Ed Skrein.
We don’t yet know the official premiere date for season four of Game of Thrones, but we can at least speculate that it will be coming to us in the spring of 2015. Meanwhile, having learned that Huisman is already a season five regular, we can venture to guess there won’t be much drama about what his fate will be in season four.
