Golden Globes 2014: Leonardo DiCaprio wins Best Actor, Comedy or Musical


The Golden Globes are being handed out tonight which means the best movies have to offer are being honored. While television is also be honored tonight, so too are the films of this past year. Part of the glory of the Golden Globes is that the Oscars are likely being predicted tonight, but even if the actors and their projects win tonight end up getting snubbed, they still at least have their Golden Globe moment in the spotlight.

It was a win was a shocker for everyone in the room who was expecting Christian Bale to win for American Hustle. But Leonardo DiCaprio’s win for The Wolf of Wall Street means that he is now a serious contender for winning Best Actor at the Oscars, as Bale’s weight as a favorite seems to have been shattered thanks to DiCaprio’s amazing, surprising  yet totally deserving win at the Globes.
