We’re still a few months away from the release of Captain America: Winter Soldier, also known as Captain America 2, but already there is buzz about what will happen in the infamous post-credit scene. Marvel has really taken a hold of the idea of staying through until the very end of a film, and the post-credit scene on Captain America 2 seems to have ben revealed early.
The blog ComicBook.com claims to have information passed along to them that pertains to the post-credit scene and a pair of major cameos that will definitely get the blood of Marvel fans pumping. According to the blog, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff appear at the very end of the movie, as these characters are known to comic book fans as Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver.
This means that Emily Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be starring in last minute cameo roles in Captain America 2, if the rumors are true. While there’s no way to verify this information, it does make sense with what Marvel historical does in connecting movies. We’ve known for a while now that Captain America 2 will lead directly into Avengers: Age of Ultron and both Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver will be making their debuts in that film.
Technically they’re making their debut in Captain America 2 though, just as Incredible Hulk, Thor and Iron Man were all tied together and to Avengers before we even knew what was happening.
All of this is just rumor at the moment, but it sounds like something Marvel would do as Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver seems like characters we should look forward to seeing this summer.
