Two new TV spots have been revealed for the highly anticipated Neighbors film, starring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. The film has so far received very solid reviews after its limited released at SXSW on March 8, and the film is scheduled for nationwide release on May 9.
The film features a number of familiar faces aside from Rogen and Efron, with the likes of Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, New Girl’s Jake Johnson and Friends star Lisa Kudrow all appearing. Nicholas Stoller will direct the comedy, and judging by his previous works such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Five-Year Engagement, he seems like exactly the right man for the job.
After family man Seth Rogen calls the cops due to the disruptive behaviour of student Zac Efron, who owns a fraternity house. War ensues after Efron doesn’t take Rogen’s behaviour lightly, and the two exchange pranks on one another.
The film is scheduled for a May 9 release in the US, and judging by the early reviews and TV spots, this looks like one to look out for in the next couple of months.
