Netflix Cleaning House

After July 1st, you will not be able to get your Rocky Balboa fix, at least not from Netflix. The franchise is set to expire from the giant movie streaming service at the beginning of the month. The titles Netflix will be deleting include the 1976 classic Rocky, which won three Academy Awards: best picture, director for John G. Avildsen and film editing, as well as Rocky II , Rocky IIIRocky IV, and Rocky V. When Variety reached out for comment, Netflix did not offer any.

Those of you low on your monthly Sylvester Stallone fix need not worry. AMC is launching a marathon of the first three Rocky  films on July 3 starting at 9 a.m. EDT with Rocky, followed by Rocky II at 11:30 a.m., and at 2 p.m., Rocky III.

Additionally, while James Bond has beat Dr. No, Goldfinger, and other nefarious villains, he has finally met his match. Beginning July 1st, the company will be deleting the following Bond titles –  For Your Eyes Only, From Russia with Love, Live and Let Die, Goldfinger, A View to a Kill,  The Living Daylights, and Never Say Never Again.

Others include –

The Running Man (1987)
