There is an end credit scene to Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie (but it's just for fun)

Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie is finally out in theaters, and I know every parent in my circle took their younger kids to see it over opening weekend. This was a lot of fun, especially for young kids and those who grew up with the preschool series.

Of course, when you’re going to a movie with the kids, there ends up being the question, “Is there a cut scene?” That’s the question my two ask, anyway, and what they really want to know is whether there’s an end-credit scene. They’re so used to gaming, that they automatically jump to “cut scene.”

Well, there is a post-credit scene to Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, but don’t worry if you didn’t stick around for it. It’s not as important as the end reveal of the movie.

What is the post-credit scene in Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie?

Stick around until the end of the credits to see a small scene involving the acorn gnome, who was left counting. Well, he’s still counting, and when he turns around, everyone is gone and the scene cuts to black.

That’s it.

This is the thing about end-credit scenes, now. They tend to connect to something fun that happened in the movie, a moment that was left with questions or a moment where you’re left wondering what happened to someone or something. The promise of a scene gets you to stick around to see all the names popping up at the end of the credits, but it doesn’t mean it’s going to hint at anything for the future.

Gabby’s Dollhouse has already hinted at a sequel

The actual moment that hinted there could be a sequel to Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie was at the end of the movie. There was the huge reveal that Gabby has a younger sister, and that was a huge risk to take.

It doesn’t mean that Gabby is going to pass on the magic abilities just yet, but there is someone who she can pass it all onto. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, if there is a sequel, the plan is for Gabby to continue honing the magic, even with the questions of getting older.

What it does do is open the Dollhouse world. There is a chance to see sisters working together as they hone their abilities and play inside the world.

Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie is available to watch in theaters right now.
