'Fantastic Four: First Steps': Mister Fantastic popcorn bucket is NSFW.

While merchandise for this year's Fantastic Four: The First Steps continues to spread, one piece of merch might be too crass to show to colleagues at work.

After Deadpool and Wolverine's theater-sponsored popcorn buckets gave fans their own crass piece of merchandise to cherish forever, we all knew there'd be a similar running joke when Fantastic Four: First Steps hit theaters. While it hasn't been released yet, the Reed Richards popcorn bucket is already making headlines.

Before getting carried away—it's fanmade. Popular web artist Boss Logic recently shared the fictitious design on his Facebook page. The artist is well known for developing Marvel-related content with unique twists, as one can see. Disney, however, would never allow an official distributor to construct a popcorn bucket this way. The multimedia conglomerate might have something to say about it in that case.

For context, one of Mister Fantastic's appendages reaches from the right side of the bucket to the other. It's clearly not one of his arms or legs—you can put two and two together when discerning which body part he's using. Mind you, neither Marvel Studios nor Disney would ever permit a family-friendly character to fall in line with Deadpool, especially since most iterations of Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) are wholesome. He is motivated by family values in the upcoming First Steps, after all.

The Mister Fantastic joke isn't anything new, either. There's a long-running gag that Richards can stretch "any body part," and when people choose to become crass, their attention gravitates towards the part of the human anatomy that men and women like to be big. Whether Reed is well-endowed or not, audiences assume his superpower makes him a powerhouse in the bedroom. Oddly enough, the comics have poked fun at such a possibility.

In a few panels depicting Reed and Sue Storm getting out of bed, the latter compliments Reed on the "fantastic set of abilities" he has. One can only speculate on what the Invisible Woman is referring to, though, in all likelihood, she's talking about the main appendage used during romantic entanglements.

An interesting question now is, does the live-action version possess the same prowess in the bedroom? Sue and Reed managed to conceive since they're having a baby, which suggests he is adequate enough. We, however, still don't know if he relied on his cosmic abilities to place a baby in Sue's oven.

Our theory is that while Marvel/Disney won't make any direct references to Reed's genitals, a line or two of dialogue will allude to them. In their universe, the Fantastic Four are public figures with fans tailing them at every turn, making groupies seem all the more likely. And groupies are going to gravitate toward anything remotely sexual about each of them. In Reed's case—his ability to stretch every body part stands out.
