Oasis fever is already sweeping the internet. Longtime fans are going to reminisce, and those who were too young to experience the band during their 90s heyday are going to want to learn what made the band such a big deal. There are a ton of Oasis documentaries out there, so figuring out which ones to watch and which to skip can be daunting. That's where we come in.

Here are the essential Oasis documentaries you should check out, and the platforms on which they're streaming.

Oasis: Supersonic (2016)

Oasis: Supersonic is the definitive Oasis documentary. The A24 film charts the meteoric rise of the band, as well as the volatile relationship between lead singer Liam and lead songwriter Noel. It's an excellent watch, thanks to the previously unreleased footage, as well as the candor of its stars, who provide narration. Oasis: Supersonic is currently streaming on Max.

Oasis Knebworth 1996 (2021)

Oasis: Supersonic does an exemplary job of capturing what the members of the band went through in the 1990s, but Oasis Knebworth 1996 shows what the rest of the world went through. The film details the two nights Oasis played at the titular venue, and the historically massive crowds that came out.

Oasis Knebworth 1996 deftly blends performance footage with the accounts of the fans who were there, and the result is one of the best concert films you'll ever see. You can see on Amazon Prime or Apple TV, but you will have to pay a $3.89 rental fee. Cheaper than Oasis tickets.

Definitely, Maybe (2014)

(What's the Story) Morning Glory? may be the most famous Oasis album, but many believe their debut is actually their best. Definitely, takes its name from the landmark release, and provides a thorough breakdown of how each song came to be. The best part about this particular doc? It's streaming on the Oasis YouTube page for free. Check it out if you haven't already.

Lord Don't Slow Me Down (2007)

Another YouTube documentary! Lord Don't Slow Me Down is worth checking out because it captures the band a decade into their career. The film spans May 2005 to March 2006, when Oasis was touring their underrated album, Don't Believe the Truth.

It's fascinating to see Liam and Noel Gallagher interact during this period, knowing they would go separate ways only a few years later. Definitely a deeper cut here, but one that feels important given the reunion we get to look forward to.
