A Quiet Place has quietly become one of the sturdiest franchises in horror. The first two films were massive box office successes, and the latest film, A Quiet Place: Day One, has earned some of the best reviews in the entire franchise.
If you happened to miss A Quiet Place: Day One in theaters, or simply want to relive the thrills of the prequel at home, you're in luck. The film will be available to stream starting Tuesday, August 27. It will be released directly to Paramount Plus in the U.S. and Canada. International streaming dates have yet to be announced.

The first installments in the Quiet Place franchise are also streaming on Paramount Plus. If you don't have a subscription to the platform, you can always try the free trial. It lasts seven days, and you will given access to Paramount Plus' entire catalog. A pretty good set up, especially if you want to have a Quiet Place marathon in preparation of a potential fourth film.
The director of A Quiet Place: Day One, Michael Sarnoski, talked about the possibility of future installments during an interview with Variety.
Day One director confirmed a sequel is in the works
He claimed not to have knowledge of what it will be about, but confirmed that Paramount was already cooking something up:
"Absolutely. But I don’t know — at this point, I’m just recovering from making this one. So I’m sure Paramount will come up with something very fun next."
Sarnoski, who took over directing duties from John Krasinski, noted that part of the appeal of the Quiet Place franchise is its flexibility. It can follow any character and go in any direction he or any other filmmaker sees fit. "You could easily follow prequels or sequels of any of the characters," he noted. "They’ve done a really good job casting incredible actors in this franchise."
