The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey has their sights on her movie career. This involves her co-star on the HBO Original series, and we're here for it.
At a HBO Emmys nominees event in Hollywood, the actor told Variety that there was one specific star they wanted to make a film with. Ramsey told the outlet that they would love to star alongside Pedro Pascal again, only on the big screen.
Bella Ramsey told Variety that they have dreams of appearing in a heist movie with Pascal “I think maybe like a heist movie where we’re robbing a bank together,” Ramsey explained. Pedro has played some criminals over the years (as well as a load of law enforcement), so we think this sounds like a lot of fun.
It sounds a great idea, as we already know Ramsey and Pascal have great on-screen chemistry. The duo played Joel and Ellie together on The Last Of Us season 1 and some of season 2. Ramsey has been open about missing her time working with Pascal, so it would make sense that the pair reunite on a future project.

Bella Ramsey isn't quite ready for a particular film franchise
A film franchise Bella is less certain about joining is the MCU. Pascal recently made his Reed Richards debut in Fantastic Four: First Steps, but it looks like Ramsey isn’t quite as sold on following in his footsteps. Their lack of enthusiasm may be because Ramsey only watched their first superhero film a few months ago, and it wasn’t even an official MCU entry. They admitted to watching an Andrew Garfield Spider-Man film “two months, three months ago.”
Their time with Peter Parker may have made a positive impact. “I don’t know about that,” Ramsey said, adding, “I could be Spider-Man. Tom Holland did a great job though. So maybe they do need to make a new [superhero] for me.”
Bella’s film career has been limited up to now. Their more notable role was in the Lena Dunham directed Catherine Called Birdy and voicing Mollie in Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget. Its no surprise that she may have big screen aspirations.
What she does next in her career is unsure. Despite earning praise and awards nominations for her role in The Last of Us, the loyal fanbase has been less than impressed with Ramsey. A good movie role alongside a talented star like Pedro Pascal could help release her from the shackles of the rabid gaming fans who dislike her casting as Ellie.
You can next see her in Sunny Dancer, a British comedy film about a child who overcomes cancer and is sent away to a summer camp. It co-stars Baby Reindeer star Jessica Gunning and Happy Valley star James Norton. If it goes well, the talented Ramsey could easily make the move from TV to film stardom. Now, we wait for a gap in Pedro’s busy schedule.
