The Twilight Saga will be shimmering back in theaters for the (gasp!) 20th anniversary of the first book, Twilight. The 544-page text, first published by Stephanie Meyer, marked the beginning of a complicated love triangle between Bella Swan, a mortal human, Edward Cullen, a vampire born in the Edwardian Era, and Jacob Black, a werewolf strongly connected to his Quileute heritage.

As the love continued to blossom between the three, so did the stories, as New MoonEclipse, and Breaking Dawn soon followed throughout the late 2000s and into the early 2010s. Not only did fans witness incredible development between Bella, Edward, and Jacob, but also the backstories of the Cullen family, as each member had once lived a human life. Giving arcs and curating dynamics to the characters makes them more rounded and strengthens the roles of others. Each and every person (or supernatural being) is connected or becomes connected in a surreal way, with a reminder that acceptance can be wondrous.

Fathom Entertainment will be hosting The Twilight Saga theatrical re-release. It's meant to be a historic and memorable event, as old and Twilight fans will experience the magic of the franchise on the Silver Screen.

With our partners at Lionsgate [Studios], we celebrate 20 years since Stephenie Meyer’s first Twilight book was published and encourage fans to relishThe Twilight Saga."

Here's when The Twilight Saga will bite into theaters (again)

Starting Wednesday, Oct. 29, in theaters nationwide, the franchise's first film, Twilight, starts the marathon. It will then be followed by its four sequels, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part One, and Breaking Dawn Part 2, from Thursday, Oct. 30 to Sunday, Nov. 2. Moviegoers can see if the set will be playing in their theaters and purchase tickets through FathomEntertainment.com

To heighten the suspense, Fathom dropped the trailer for the re-release, recapping all five movies in under 50 seconds. But, there's much more to the stories than what's given.

The franchise's theatrical return isn't the only celebration that fans could look forward to. There will be a concert tour featuring the films' beloved soundtrack across the U.S., as well as a five-day Forever Twilight In Forks Festival, where attendees can see several of the franchise's props and wardrobe, interact with the cast, and enjoy more memorabilia and scenery.

Now, you can't celebrate without merchandise. Fathom states that book reissues and merchandise will be rolling out in the fall, both online and in-store. The merchandise, fan experiences, and Big Screen return are the ultimate affair to bring back and honor something that brought so much joy to people over the years.
