Halloween is the horror franchise to watch during the Halloween season. It's in the title. The 1978 original was such a watershed moment for the franchise and the holiday that Hollywood has just continued to make them for decades.

There's a lot to keep track of, though. There has been a baker's dozen of Halloween films made so far, and three of them are simply called "Halloween." Confusing, we know. Since we are in the thick of the spooky season, though, we thought it'd be helpful to create a streaming guide, so you know where to go to get your Michael Myers fix!

Which Halloween movies are streaming on Netflix?

Halloween (2018), the belated reboot, is currently streaming on Netflix. The film is technically the eleventh installment in the series, but it ignores the events of all the sequels that proceeded it and is supposed to be a direct follow up to the original.

Which Halloween movies are streaming on Peacock?

The original Halloween is not available on Peacock, but the second and third sequels are! Halloween II (1981) and Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1983) are currently streaming on the Platform, and are considered to be two of the best sequels in the entire franchise.

The second film picks up seconds after the original, and was co-written and produced by creator John Carpenter. He also directed key scenes, if the rumors about him making last minute changes to the film are true. Season of the Witch is the only Halloween film that doesn't feature Michael Myers, which doomed it at the box office but has now led to the creation of a small cult following.

Oh, and if you want to keep up with the modern Halloween trilogy, you can also find Halloween Kills (2021) on Peacock!

Which Halloween movies are streaming on AMC+?

It would obviously be easier if all the Halloween movies were on the same platform, so you could binge them. Alas, that is not the streaming world we live in. Once you are done with the third title in the series, you are going to have to move over to AMC + for the next batch.

On AMC + you will be able to stream the following Halloween movies:

- Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)

- Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)

- Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)

- Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)

- Halloween: Resurrection (2002)

Which Halloween movies are streaming for free?

The first Halloween is a masterpiece, and fortunately, it's one of the installments that is currently streaming for free. The movie is currently available to watch on Crackle, PLEX and Xumo Play. It's available on AMC + as well, for fans who want to keep the platforms the same as much as possible.

Did we mention the Rob Zombie Halloween movies? No? Well, don't worry, because they are also available to stream for free. Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009) are both streaming for free on Tubi, which is good because these are not highlights in the franchise overall.
