A star-studded affair promises to highlight what should be a fun night of awards presentations. Nikki Glasser will host the 82nd Golden Globes, with appearances from nominees Timothee Chalamet, Selena Gomez, and many more. The show is set to air tonight at 8 PM EST, and we will share where you can watch it.

The first major awards show of the season is set to jump-start a busy few weeks for awards pundits. After the Golden Globes, you have the SAG nominations on January 8, the Critics Choice Awards on January 12, and the Oscar Nominations are set to be announced on January 17. It will be quite a busy week and a half for those who love to follow the awards season.

After many years airing on NBC, the Golden Globes switched to CBS. You can watch the 82nd Annual Golden Globes live on CBS at 8 PM EST tonight. Those of you with Paramount+ can stream the show only if you have Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. Of course, you can watch the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on their service.

The exciting news from Paramount+ is they offer a seven-day free trial to invite audiences to try the service and check out this year's Golden Globes. There are plenty of other things to check out on the streaming platform, including Tye Sheridan's universe of shows, last year's Horror smash hit Smile 2, and one of my all-time favorite shows Cheers.

Who are some of the Golden Globe Nominees?

Tonight will be a huge night for the stars. Timothee Chalamet has been nominated for his portrayal of Bob Dylan, Selena Gomez has been double-nominated for Emilia Perez and Only Murders in the Building, and Golden Globe winner Zendaya has been nominated for her performance in Challengers.

Oscar voters will have their eyes peeled to see who will take home the Globes and if they need to reevaluate some of their picks or watch as voting begins on January 8 and ends on January 12. It should be a fun event, and I can't wait to see how the night shapes the rest of the award season.
