July has been a great month, but it's looking like August will be an even better month. Well, at least for horror fans. One of the most talked-about horror films of this year is slated to arrive on HBO Max in August, giving those who missed it in theaters the opportunity to experience the heart-pounding thrills right at home.

Have you guessed which horror flick it is yet? No, it's not Sinners. However, that movie did have everyone talking. In fact, Sinners is already available to stream on HBO Max. We strongly recommend checking out that movie as well if you're looking for a true cinematic experience.

We'll give you a little hint. Like Sinners, the distributor for this mystery film is Warner Bros. Pictures. It's none other than the supernatural horror movie Final Destination Bloodlines! We're talking about the film that had audiences on the edge of their seats, anticipating the next shocking twist and terrifying death as the survivors try desperately to cheat fate.

There's no need to worry if you didn't get to see this cinematic masterpiece on the big screen. Final Destination: Bloodlines is coming to HBO Max next month. The exact date is Friday, Aug. 1, 2025. All you need to do is make sure that you're subscribed to the streaming platform. Without a subscription, you won't be granted access. Also, you might want to mark the official streaming release date down. It'll be Aug. 1 before you know it!!

Along with a streaming release, the supernatural horror will also make its debut on HBO on Aug. 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET. So if you'd rather catch it the traditional way, sitting back and watching it scheduled on TV, mark your calendar for that date and save the time.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is the highest-grossing movie in the Final Destination franchise so far, earning $138.1 million domestically (in the U.S.) and $285.3 million worldwide. It's also the second-highest-grossing horror film of this year, falling just behind Sinners. Talk about a major comeback for the franchise!

We hadn't seen a new Final Destination movie since 2011, when Final Destination 5 was released in theaters. Final Destination Bloodlines serves as a prequel and sequel. Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein teamed up to direct from a screenplay written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor. The plot centers around a college student named Stefani, who is haunted by a violent recurring nightmare. She returns home to find her grandmother, Iris, the only person who might help break a deadly curse threatening their family.

The Flash star Kaitlyn Santa Juana plays the main character, Stefani. She is joined in the cast by the late Tony Todd, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and many others.
